How We Can Help

Our Care Process

caring for pet with cancer

We are very glad you found us. There is no better place for your pet to be than in the care of a cancer specialist and more specifically, Dr. Romansik and his team.

It might feel overwhelming at the moment, but we will guide you through the treatment process one step at a time. Our goal is to help you make decisions that are right for you and to answer all of your questions. Our job is our passion, and attending to your needs while we care for your pet is all part of what you can expect from us.

Schedule a consultation: Call (978) 577-4848 to schedule a consultation at the location nearest you. Prior to your appointment, we will obtain all of your pet’s medical records from your referring veterinarian. New patient registration forms are available online for your convenience.

The consultation: A thorough medical history of your pet will be gathered by a member of our team. Dr. Romansik will then perform a complete physical examination. He may recommend additional diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment. Any suggested treatment protocol will be fully explained to you, including cost, time, and expected outcome.

The treatment process: Most treatments are handled as outpatient visits. We look forward to seeing you at each visit. Getting to know our patient families is one of the best parts of the job. After every visit, we will send your primary care veterinarian a summary of the treatment your pet received.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

For your convenience, we offer a variety of payment options. We accept the below-listed credit cards, Care Credit and cash. At this time, we do not accept personal checks. Payment is due at the time of service.

However, if you are worried about your pet, please do not hesitate to call your primary care veterinarian or us at any time.
